As a PMHNP-BC in a rural, underserved, small community, I'm passionate about providing medication management services and serving my community. I understand importance of treating people in a holistic manner, to maintain a balanced state so wellness is achieved. I focus on a “whole patient” approach and “patient-centered care” for best outcomes. For one to live their best life, there must be balance in sleep hygiene, diet, and exercise. I strive to help patients reach their best potential, psychiatrically after other options have been exhausted through medication management and supportive therapy. I have specialized as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in both the inpatient setting as well as the outpatient setting, over the lifespan of ages 13 and older. Specific diagnoses would include anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar, schizophrenia, or schizoaffective. I also serve patients who suffer from substance use disorder or alcohol use disorder. I am an empathetic provider who understands mental illness and substance use disorder. I am adept at the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses. If you or someone you know is suffering, please reach out. I can help with stabilization, medication management, and help prevent crises from occurring. Since I was young I had great interest in psychiatry and psychology, with a strong desire to help people with mental illness. I began my research during high school to attain better understanding of various mental illnesses. My life experiences have given me a strong desire to help those who struggle with mental illness and addiction. There is such great need in the profession, I look forward to helping the community.
